I am at home in the digital world, having written for online as well as print outlets for most of my career. I have extensive experience with social media, including founding my own award-winning travel and food blog, Roaming Tales.
I am passionate about telling stories that matter. My fascination with the world began at an early age and at 15 I was an exchange student in Germany and travelled to Russia shortly after the coup that brought the Soviet Union to an end. I volunteered abroad with Youth Challenge Australia twice, in Costa Rica at age 20 and in Guyana at age 22. I hold a Master in International Studies from the University of Sydney and I have reported from far-flung places such as Syria, Senegal, Uganda, Tanzania, Spitsbergen in the Arctic, Sumatra, Papua New Guinea and Nicaragua. I am currently based in Sydney but my clients are around the world.
